The country was founded by alot of people who thought that "We the People" meant white male property owners. We have a long history of both expanding that definition, and fighting against it at the same time. Right now we are in a argument about voting rights for convicted felons. My personal prediction for a future long after I'm gone is that some day, someone will take to the supreme court the odd contridiction that a 14 year old can do alot of things that can get them charged and convicted as "and adult" in our criminal justice system, but there is nothing that same 14 year old can do to get to vote. And conservatives will be the largest block of people to oppose the result.

if there's no link to a MAD MAG. or other authoritative source, it may not be real. Just a reminder not to fall for things like Trumpers do. The reason Trumpers believe the fake Pelosi drunk video is that they don't look for a source in a real news organization or other authoritative source.

Just sayin'. We have truth on our side.

Notice the character's hands. I was bright enough at age 11 to see that he'd been drawn as a "right winger", but it wasn't until now that I noticed the other hand, and realized it's drawn to show that he's also a "knuckle dragger".
