Believing this is real. First off nothing in the constitution says a president can’t be charged for crimes , that’s a policy and Mueller knows this. This is someone sending fake documents obviously.

Just asking, since your newly-chosen name is D00ver.

There is no line in the constitution about presidents are above the law, implied or direct. It concerns me that Mr. Mueller would say that it does. There IS a memo. Big difference. I wish we could do a D00ver but buyers remorse isn’t part of our elections. It’s time to impeach.

We still need the sound bites for the masses:

"We didn't charge the president because we couldn't."

"Congress has the power to further investigate and try the president for potential crimes."

We got "If we had confidence that the president did not commit a crime, we would have said that."

It seems obvious to us, but a 448-page report full of indirect language and suppositions about next steps isn't good enough for the "Idiocracy" crowd.

I wish I had greater faith in the reasoning power of the American public, but I don't.

Repukes will focus on “could not establish that the Trump campaign was involved in a larger conspiracy”. Then say if there is no conspiracy/crime how can you obstruct justice. If the democrats impeach that is what the senate will use as the excuse not to convict.

What we needed is for the report to establish that Trump or someone on Trump’s orders conspired with the Russians. Then, I think, you would have seen some Republicans do the right thing.

start for a discussion, reading the original document.

As previously stated, Speaker Pelosi and Rep. Nadler have my support as they roll out the report with supporting independent investigations. They have rightly concluded that the majority of voters are "media trained" to get their news in small bites, summaries, opinions and spin.

Well done Marine Mueller, now over to Congress to continue his work to a conclusion.

It is simply an opinion from a Justice department appointed by Nixon, another criminal president.

The opinion was written in his best interests, and the opinion is what's unconstitutional.

"I am not running it through a baby-food mill for you. Learn to chew."

Finally: "Americans and American media, I am not your circus monkey. This is not a circus, this is Real Life. You have everything. Learn to read. Learn to think."

Works for me.

the two opinions in the report,
opinion 1 - preserve the evidence
opinion 2 - constitution provides the process to charge the president with a crime

He wasn't going to talk outside of what's already in the report, and he wasn't going to allow his actions to look even a hair political.

Some here are missing just how damning what he DID say was.
