List of all the impeachable offenses we know of (so far)

Offenses that are ready to go:

1) Obstruction of justice
2) Failure to carry out important duties of office--for example, filling vacant cabinet positions, securing elections, etc.
3) His cruel child separation policy, which violates the Geneva convention
4) Contempt of congress
5) Illegal campaign contributions
6) Perjury in sworn written testimony regarding the trump tower meeting
7) Undermining freedom of press
8) Abuse of pardon power
9) Failure to fully reject white supremacists/ neo nazis

Offenses that require more hearings/investigations:

10) Criminal conspiracy with Russia to affect 2016 election
11) Repeated violations of the emoluments clause
12) Directing US DOJ to investigate political opponents

Anything else?

It was about the phone call "before" that Trump tower meeting.

Where someone is already serving a prison sentence for his participation? You know, that FELONY where Trump is named "Individual 1"?!?!?

The mistake was not starting impeachment inquiry the day after Michael Cohen testified to Trump's crime.

The Geneva convention is a set of four treaties and 3 protocols pertaining to nations at war or in armed conflict. It has no bearing in this matter.

Unfilled cabinet positions, while abhorrent, isn't an impeachable offense.

And regarding the Geneva convention, if it's not acceptable conduct within the confines of war, why on Earth would it be acceptable during peace time?

I. Treaties
Geneva Convention IV
Article 26 of the 1949 Geneva Convention IV provides:

Each Party to the conflict shall facilitate enquiries made by members of families dispersed owing to the war, with the object of renewing contact with one another and of meeting, if possible. It shall encourage, in particular, the work of organizations engaged on this task provided they are acceptable to it and conform to its security regulations.

Additional Protocol I

Article 74 of the 1977 Additional Protocol I provides:

Parties to the conflict shall facilitate in every possible way the reunion of families dispersed as a result of armed conflicts and shall encourage in particular the work of the humanitarian organizations engaged in this task.

Additional Protocol II

Article 4(3)(b) of the 1977 Additional Protocol II provides: “All appropriate steps shall be taken to facilitate the reunion of families temporarily separated.”

Convention on the Rights of the Child

Article 10 of the 1989 Convention on the Rights of the Child provides: “Applications by a child or his or her parents to enter or leave a State Party for the purpose of family reunification shall be dealt with by States Parties in a positive, humane and expeditious manner.”

would fall under "not doing your job" which would certainly qualify under any reasonable standard of impeachable offense.

and separating children from parents who ask for asylum is a crime against humanity and an agreement we have in the UN I think.
He is also having people he fired from the DoJ investigated for doing their job
