It appears you do not understand the sentence in which the phrase appears.

She refers to Democrats who are “fearful of their Trumpy neighbors' aversion to anything but an elder white man.”

I realize it is kind of a long sentence, but the reference is to prejudice on the part of Trump supporters, and is not an expression of a prejudice she holds.

This is just sad, really.
