Grandmother trapped inside car at casino for 16 hours

MILWAUKEE —
A Milwaukee man is accused of locking his grandmother in a car for 16 hours while he gambled at Potawatomi casino.
In December, a security guard found the 76-year-old woman in a car in the Potawatomi garage.

The doors were locked and she could not get out because of child safety locks.

According to a criminal complaint, the casino paged the car's owner and Wesley Brown came outside.

The woman's seat belt was so tight, "it had embedded into (the woman's) skin," the complaint says. Officers had to cut it with a knife.
The woman, who has dementia, "was wearing a soiled diaper."
