(2,067 posts)They want voters in Urban areas by watching them but not allowed to talk and make any contact with them to feel like are being closely observed, especially in Ohio.

Well, it's just a thought.

(15,189 posts)To tell other who are waiting in line so they won't be surprised or scared. Make them a mockery. They shouldn't be allowed to do this. You can't wear a shirt, or hold a sign near a polling place, so how is this legal. But we need to tell others so they can laugh at these assholes to their faces. I will promptly give them a big Fuck you if they are at my polling place.

How do I know they really work for the Board of Elections?
Is there anything illegal about asking people involved in election process to ID themselves?

(290 posts)I can't believe this isn't illegal. But since this is such a huge issue, the only way to get this out is to show all Americans how low the Tea Party Republicans will stoop to affect the vote (primarily African-American voters who lean Democrat). Perhaps, there would be enough people who felt intimidated who would be willing to be interviewed. Pictures or videos would be helpful, but likely not allowed inside the voting area. But once outside, it's public domain.
Republican Ohio Secretary of State, Husted was planned to be a speaker at a True The Vote meeting. Once the national media discovered it, he quickly cancelled his speaking engagement. He is to announce today his decision whether to terminate 2 long time Country Elections supervisors who wanted to ensure the voters in their county were able to vote on weekends. BTW, the supervisors are Democrats.
