Trump, on the hiding of McCain's name on navy ship: "I know nothing."

The orange disease claims he had nothing to do with covering up the name on the USS John McCain. And why would anyone believe this? After all, he's spent 2 1/2 years lying to us about ... everything.

Assuming this was done without Trump's orders by the Trumpkins in the White House, these are people who need to be deprogrammed. Perhaps, when their current hell ends, they will check themselves into a facility that specializes in curing those who have been brainwashed, or who are suffering from Stockholm Syndrome.

But the reality is that most of them will get jobs with some wingnut organization. And they will become worse human beings than they already are.

Stop for a second and think how fucked up you have to be to cover up the name of a United States navy ship because seeing it would probably upset the madman for whom you're working.

What's wrong with this picture? What's wrong with these people???

Sgt Schultz (Hogan's Heros) escaped from the Nazis and served in the US Army Air Corps.
He posed for a recruiting poster.
He and Klink were Jews playing the part of Nazis.
They insisted that their characters be portrayed as buffoons.

From your post: "He and Klink were Jews playing the part of Nazis. They insisted that their characters be portrayed as buffoons."

I once read an interview with Werner Klemperer in which is distinctly said this. I remember thinking, "What a great way to deal with the issue."

And I thought these two men played their roles perfectly. Much preferred them to Crane's Hogan.

Was Major Hoffstetter. If you play a German, you have to be a buffoon. However, if you play a Gestapo officer, you REALLY have to be over the top!

I ask myself the same thing. And the "people", keep growing. As if it was not bad enough that folks in the WH ordered this kind of cowardly act, those in charge in the Navy, actually complied. https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2019/05/uss-john-s-mccain-scandal-stains-navy/590575/
