Very cool. I wonder how they felt up there upon hearing of Neil Armstrong's passing. If I remember correctly, he was on the team that worked out the problem of docking in space. They did it with jeeps driving in circles on a dry lake bed.

It seemed to be further west than the diagram shows. But it was going the correct direction, and about the right speed...

The moon illuminated it for a while, and then it faded...

It was cool!

I saw your OP at 8:04 - just in time to run out for a view. I was a bit surprised at where it was: the ground track made me think it would be down to the east but I neglected to think about how high it is and how little curved the Earth actually is. Seemed like it passed about 15 degrees from directly above...
