I have a sinking feeling between now and Election day this election is gonna get really dirty
At this point Mitt is not doing well.
She should have had a bump with the Paul Ryan VP pick and yet Obama seems to be holding strong. Todays Electoral Vote.Com has the electoral break out at 327 Obama to 212 Romney. Although Romney looks to be picking up 3 states from 2008 election (Indiana, Iowa and North Carolina) it's only in Indiana that he has a solid lead. Iowa and NC are almost a toss-up.
At this point the only thing Mitt has going for him is to get as dirty as hell and hope something sticks. Problem is most of the 'scandals' of Obama seem to have been hashed out ad nauseum for at least 5 years including the Birth Certificate, Rev Wright and that guy from the Radical group who once stood in the same room as Obama. McCain and especially Palin tried their best to bring Obama down with some of these issues and yet Obama still won easily.
If the Economy or Healthcare or the War was going to bring down Obama we'd see this to be a much closer race.
Mitt is just a miserable excuse of a candidate and for Paul Ryan, since he doesn't have to step down from his house race this is just a way to help build his brand name recognition so perhaps he can run for a bigger race sometime soon.
