It was 49 years ago today that Martin Luther King, Jr. gave his famous "I Have a Dream" speech on the steps of the Lincoln memorial. Today, the memorial to Dr. King sits just a short distance from there.

Take a minute to remember his legacy today. How far do you think we've come since 1963?

Within 5-years of that speech, JFK, Malcolm X, MLK, and RFK, had all been shot dead.
