We're on a bay north of the intracoastal waterway about half way between Mobile and Pensacola.
The worst (and it wasn't bad) is over for us.
Spotty rain in bands.
3-5 minutes of moderate to heavy.
Wind and blue sky in between.
Bay water is just about even with the dock decking.
Low tide tonight, which will help to mitigate storm surges.
Tornado warnings well to the north of us.
Another bullet dodged.
All the best to our NOLA cousins.

(60,010 posts)The storm surge was supposed to be pretty bad, I was hoping you guys keep your feet dry.
We have had maybe 10 drops of water all told..there seems to be a dome of very hot air sitting over us, the rain bands approach and simply wither away..it is very weird. Now I want SOME rain just to cool off.
