Are you asking if Trump can remove Pence as vice president? No, he can't.

Are you asking if Trump can choose some other running mate to be VP if elected to a second term? Yes, he can.

Trump is the shoehorn for Pence, that's why they put up with him. Also, he beat Hillary, so that makes him their hero. But they secretly yearn for a Pence presidency. They figure if Trump can win re-election, after he's served just over two years of that term, they can be done with him, and Pence can serve the rest of the term, and still be eligible to run for two of his own.

They figure RBG can't possibly survive that long.

He could pick anybody. Ivanka. The cult would still think the sun shines out his massive ass.

They have no core beliefs, NONE!

That SALT change was a 5k tax hit for me. My John Galt loving neighbor likely took a much bigger hit, likely 10k plus. So when the tax "cut" came out I told him we just got screwed. Now this is a guy who went door to door to repeal the fuel tax increase in CA which is about a $350 yearly hit for us and goes directly into CA infrastructure. His response to the 10k plus hit due to tRump,.... It will likely make houses in the midwest worth more money.

So, they don't give two shits about taxes, abortion, wealth redistribution, they hate Liberals, they hate people of color, anything else is just a reason to vote against liberals to hide the true reason for their votes.

as the vice president is elected separate from the president. Not that Trump and his minions pay attention to that document. He can ignore Pence, or make his life miserable, but short of death or impeachment he's stuck with him.

Now he can pick Ivanka as his running mate in 2020 (No, the Constitution does not forbid this: it merely says that electors have to vote for at least one of the pres/vp ticket not from their state. Not that Trump is going to get any of New York's electoral votes in the first place).

It takes impeachment, resignation, or being outvoted in the next election to remove him.
