So how does it feel right now, GOP?

You have defended, lied for, covered up for, and made excuses for your “pResident” since day one.

You have not only supported your treasonous “pResident”, you have enabled him at every turn. You have twisted yourselves into shapes heretofore not known to man in order to make your “pResident’s” inane ramblings seem normal, to Trump-‘splain his idiocy, to cover up his episodes of obvious mental instability, and to excuse his blatant corruption.

And well done on all counts – your beloved ‘base’ is still with you.

But how does it feel to defend concentration camps? How does it feel to dismiss innocent children being traumatized and abused as no big deal?

How does it feel to show up on the news shows, look into the camera, and tell people that toddlers walking around in diapers that haven’t been changed in weeks is just another way to Make America Great Again?

What goes through your mind as you hear about the atrocities being perpetrated at for-profit ‘detention centres’, knowing you will be called upon to defend those atrocities?

Do you feel like Nazis trying to defend concentration camps? Do you feel like you are being called upon to defend the indefensible? You should – because you are.

This IS a test. You either support this Trump policy of putting immigrant children in cages without adequate food, water, and access to the means to keep themselves clean – or you don’t.

There is no middle ground here. It’s a yes or no question. You either believe that innocent children should be taken away from their parents and subjected to horrific living conditions – or you don’t.

So answer the question. The entire world is awaiting your response – so let’s hear it.

I doubt they care. Wish I could say different.

But there is hope. Having watched the out pouring of love and help in my Community that is still going on every day to repair the damage of 15 tornadoes I really find it hard to believe they will not notice. The Churches here banded together, crews are still going out daily from the Churches to provide food, supplies and hard work to clean up tells me what the people in this country really are.

Right now we are in a very dark place, knowing about the many are suffering while our Royal family travels all over the world in stunning luxury at our expense, doing serious damage to our standing in the world but watching my community unite I still have hope.

You are correct. They don't care. They are oblivious to what is happening and through their media lens they see an out of control AOC lying about patriotic border patrol agents who are only exercising their 1st amendment rights on Face Book. These invaders are coming to the USA in search of handouts and are being treated extremely well when they are caught at the border.

That's the sickness we're dealing with.

The great masses of people in America are not paying attention anyway.

It just keeps getting worse. You have a FB group created for border agents that is just loaded to the brim with disgusting racist remarks followed up by high fives and disgusting photoshopped images of Democratic leaders....and it has 9,500 members. Not 9 or 95 members but 9,500 members. That agency needs a major purge with those members fired losing their ability to ever work in law enforcement again anywhere ever. But I fear this investigation won't lead to hardly anything happening. Then what? Just more chaos, more hate, more fascism.

And here are my thoughts while I was awake,
Why does this president want to give himself a military parade, when he was a draft dodger, as was his grandfather (kicked out of his own country for cowardice) and who has two grown sons who have not spent one minute of service to the country and even skipped out of a pub in Ireland and did not pay the bill, and who it seems we are supporting.
Why are they getting ready to attack Mueller (who supposedly cleared Trump of all wrongdoing)
How have we become a country that keeps refugees in horrific conditions, even leading to many deaths.
And it goes on and on, my representative Mark Walker of NC (supposedly a pastor) fawns over Trump, and is sickening in his support for him. So much for christianity.
Well, this is my ramble, could go on and on.

If this exposure does not wake the Trump supporters to the damage they have done to this Country I am not sure what will.

Lest we forget the likes of Mitch McConnell and his out right bragging that he will do nothing does not awaken the voters in Kentucky what do we have left? His long trail of revenge and hate have completely destroyed the Senate. And the House was not far behing with the ignorant, billionaire owned Freedom Caucus that was pretty well wiped out in the last election.

Might they feel bad if they believed every word you said is true? Maybe but probably not. They’d just say “Obama did it” even though he didn’t.

There is nothing that the GOP and it's base won't do to keep power and to hurt those who oppose them. Tue Jul 2, 2019, 07:18 PM

Look at what Faux and Fiends knucklehead Kilmeade had to say: "And these are not — like it or not, these are not our kids. Show them compassion, but it's not like he is doing this to the people of Idaho or Texas. These are people from another country, and now people are saying that they're more important than people in our country who are paying taxes and who have needs as well."

And this, equating them with an overcrowded house party: "Here's the thing. Picture yourself, you have a house, family of five. You have a party, you have 30 people over. Maybe you have a big party and you have 100 people over and you have two and a half baths. In the beginning, it would be OK with 30. Then after 100 people, it would be a little bit taxed, maybe you got to get an outdoor facility." https://www.mediamatters.org/video/2019/07/02/Foxs-Brian-Kilmeade-likens-overcrowded-border-detention-facilities-to-a-house-party-with-1/224108

And this: “You’re never going to have a Hyatt at the border. It’s never going to be great, that’s never what the intention is.” https://www.thedailybeast.com/fox-and-friends-host-brian-kilmeade-on-concerns-about-detention-camp-conditions-never-going-to-have-a-hyatt

This is where the Trump cult gets its red meat. As so many have said, cruelty is the whole point.

That time has come and gone. rethugs have done nothing but double down on it all.

Take, for example, 45's former chief of staff John Kelly. Do you really think that he never knew what the administration's policies were and what they were doing? Once he left the White House, he joined the board of directors of the for-profit prison-slash-detention facility corporation Caliburn International, which owns Homestead, one of the worst facilities holding children seeking refuge.

Remember those hecklers who were trying to shout down AOC when she spoke in front of cameras after touring the facilities in Texas? There's your evangelicals you're hoping will change.

I don't know who first said it, but it's worth repeating.

The cruelty is the point.
