well, "thoughts and prayers" and all.

(i.e., I think it would be interesting to see what the GOP will do if their figurehead becomes so visibly mentally impaired that he literally can't speak actual words, perhaps through some fast-food related vascular incident, I don't know...but I bet they'd try to trot him out there anyway, b/c none of them really want to see Pence try to act like he's in charge, and the MAGAts need their God Emperor, not some pasty stand-in. Or they'll just keep him out of public view and keep tweeting fascist shit on his behalf, and nobody will get too suspicious, at least for a while. I pray that we will all get to see this; the utter hilarity might make it more bearable as we helplessly watch our country's ongoing death throes over the next few years.)

From Jerusalem: Vladimir Putin cancelled his participation in a planned event and will soon meet with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoygu, according to the TASS news agency.

Also European Union’s Security Council has been called for a previously unscheduled meeting - uncomfirmed.
