at the White House.
Remember when they condemned Obama for "bowing" to the Saudi prince? Can anyone imagine Chelsea Clinton or Malia Obama participating in all diplomatic missions?
Those of us who worked for a family owned business know how the owner just decides things, he does not owe any explanation to anyone. And if he happens to fall under regulations, he is really outrage. How dare "the government" interfere in his business?
And no one, no one of the Republican party dares say anything.
Sure, there are many deplorables changing "F**ing A." But what about the rest of the country?
Or is everyone so busy studying their cell phones that they don't care what is going around them?

(3,647 posts)The Queen of England is fabulously wealthy just because she's the queen. I'm sure that Trump and his spawn envy that. During the Revolutionary era many conservatives of the day fled to Canada in loyalty to the monarchy. I suspect that the conservatives of today have as little true regard for a republic as the conservatives did way back when.

(19,970 posts)And now their Dear Leader is arguably one himself. They're using every trick they can dream up to undermine democracy and accountability and make him all-powerful--permanently. Not really surprising that the self-serving Republican Party is fine with a totalitarian regime as long as it's them on the throne.
