When that person is removed, someone else needs to stand in front of it.

The tanks are already there. It's not like Tianimin Square where they're rolling out into a public area. They were brought in by truck and will be stationary to avoid wrecking the roads.

There wasn't time to give them a paint job or even clean them thoroughly. The photos I've seen show that they look pretty dingy, really. I think it's funny that they weren't showpieces, all detailed to look brand new.
It's funny stuff.
