My GSD has been in complete catatonia since this afternoon because we live between two reservations. It happens every year.

My puppy is taking it better than I thought she would. The pops and booms don't seem to bother her that much, but those high-pitched hissing things scare her to death, as they do me. They are so obnoxious. On top of the man-made fireworks, we have Mother Nature pitching in with lightning and thunder. I'm hoping it will pour so the revellers will retire indoors. I feel sorry for the people who have to work tomorrow. Now I'm also hearing gunfire, which is dangerous.
