President Trump decided to post a cryptic tweet that befuddled members of his administration and broke with his own Justice Department on the census citizenship question after he had some long chats with conservative friends on the phone, Trumps favorite mode of communication.
The main target of his ire in those long phone calls? Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross, according to the Washington Post. Trump reportedly thinks his Justice Department and Commerce Department backed down too easily and privately believes that Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts is out to get him.
Trump continued his phone calls on the Fourth of July, complaining to aides and friends about Ross. He reportedly told advisers that he intends to make the citizenship question issue the Trump administrations top priority in the next several days.
Fix this, Trump has repeatedly told aides.

When you click on the Post story, the head jerk at the Federalist Society is basically one that hates the Constitution, he really does, along with his other enabling POS and his ilk, and then there is a "contributor " that shows up on MSNBC, one Hugh Hewitt..............making lot's of money every time he goes on the news cycle, with his hidden agenda of racism, not coming outright and saying it, but he endorses racism and then there is Josh Blackman and his remarks of stupidity which would just drive the costs up, and have placed onto the taxpayers, really, pay for yourself if they and you think they should have two questionnaires......................

(3,997 posts)Any thinking person has to be alarmed by this. How can people I thought had some discernment (my father and my brother) not see the fundamental problem here?
