aren't they really going to find that those agricultural counties, the red counties, are full of non citizens. this might shift more congressional districts to the urban centers.

Apportionment of representatives is based on inhabitants.
However, voting requires citizenship.
So, having places with lots of inhabitants and few citizens is a good thing for them.

(25,183 posts)in rural areas are only in a given area for a short time, usually corresponding to the planting or harvesting seasons for various crops. Undocumented workers in urban areas are working jobs under the table, and have a more permanent presence.

They gerrymandered at their heart's content.
Now, they want to do it again, by executive fiat, if they can't win the Congress and do it the "old-fashioned" way?
I have come to the conclusion that the Republican Party is a criminal organization.
