1. He's holding onto his base of 43% because that is how he controls the GOP

and gets them to support him no matter what he does. It is blackmail. Don't feel sorry for the GOP. They brought it on themselves.

Why should Trump recruit them? He's much better off with low turnout that emphasizes his cheating.
