Beleaguered CA Congressman Demands to Look at Epstein PhotosIn a 3 AM tweet this morning that has since been deleted, Duncan Hunter, the California House Member who may be facing criminal charges soon, called for the immediate release of photos of Jeffrey Epstein's victims that were seized in a federal warrant raid on Epstein's NYC residence. "I, for one, want a close look at those photos. Are they really of underage females? Are they really nude? As a member of Congress, it is my duty to come to my own conclusions about them. I know I speak for many of my Republican colleagues when I demand the immediate public release of those images. Let us judge them for ourselves, after long study in our private offices," Hunter wrote.
No word from SDNY officials has been spoken about such a release, but such evidence is typically not made public, to safeguard the privacy of crime victims. Calls by our reporters to Hunter's office have gone unanswered. His staff reported that he has been in his office all morning with the door locked.

(22,100 posts)can tell someone how old someone is, and what about privacy rights of the victims too? What about common human decency, too, for the victims?
Hunter is a scumbag ... taking the side of pedophiles...no wonder everyone is abandoning him and want nothing to do w/ this piece of garbage.

(146,284 posts)However, some did not catch the obvious clues in the content. So, now, I identify my satirical writing with the word, BROKEN, in the post title and a graphic at the end.
And yet, some still don't get it. Perhaps I should use a red font color and type "This post is satire" at the beginning of the post body.
I'm not going to do that, though. About once a week or so, I indulge my penchant for satirical writing on DU. I will continue to do so.

(15,682 posts)I would like to see "SATIRE" at the beginning or the end. At least as long as we're living in the maggot era. There are just too many questions about what is real in the first place.
Just my opinion, MM.

(146,284 posts)If it doesn't make at least some people think it's true, then it didn't work.
Jonathan Swift didn't label his writing as satire. And some people thought it was true. Read "A Modest Proposal." You can find it with Google.

The actual roll out of THIS mess is going to be verrrry interesting!
How much wood can a woodchuck chuck? I can hardly wait till they start peeling that onion.
