Kid grows up with a precocious talent for hitting a golf ball.
He makes millions from this talent.
He attracts women.
He marries one of them.
He still attracts women.
Wife divorces him.
Court awards aformentioned millions to her.
She bulldozes it.

Is there anything redeeming about this cycle at all?

Bread and circuses, except the bread is running low.
