Trump is apparently still so angry about Sessions’ recusal from Russia probe that he doesn’t want the former senator to run for his old seat, even though that could help his party’s chances to take back the seat

Alabama may like Trump but he isn't "local" like Sessions. Many voters can reconcile having both Trump and Sessions.

He knows Sessions has been subpoenaed to appear before the House Committee and he's telling him to watch what he says, if he wants to win the Senate seat in AL.
