Perhaps we're not living in the midst of American carnage. Perhaps the civic fabric hasn't unraveled. Perhaps late capitalism isn't in crisis. Perhaps liberal democracy and a free society remain worth defending.

Since 1935 he and his fellow republicans has literally sought the unapologetic TOTAL
destruction of SOCIAL SECURITY.

To now suggest that "PERHAPS liberal democracy and a free society remain worth
defending" while he and 99% of his fellow republicans have done the complete
opposite of defend and support a LIBERAL democracy is more than simply appalling.

It is a clear sign that the end of our country is near.

Good "christians" like him will continue unabated, to persecute Immigrants, persons
of color, women, non-christians, the poor and the LGBT until only RICH, WHITE
CHRISTIANS replace our FREEDOM with freedom under their GOD.

Maybe if Bill Kristol had demonstrated his new-found conviction by denounce his republican
party for what is truly has become, I might have believed him.
