(8,421 posts)they are privileges. (BTW, I have hired a lot of people without asking for ID; and that I know of, our broker who takes care of my IRA never asked for a valid ID.)
Is this person confusing Social Security Number and ID? They are not the same, of course.

on edit: I should add that several of those don't require a photo ID. It's a bullshit list.
