Somewhere, Joe Biden smiles, clinks the ice cubes in his glass, and says, "See you in October, kid. Better bring your mom." #gop2012

(25,415 posts)Our VP has a ton of more energy and real actual passion at 69 then Ryan has at 42.

(5,810 posts)And the only thing that kept me from going over the edge was the thought that soon enough he would not be alone on the stage spewing his lies. I thought that with the Repubs going first this year with their convention, it worked out perfectly for the Democrats to come back hard at the lies and distortions presented by one speaker after another tonight. Ryan scares me because he looked right in the camera and into the eyes of the TV audience to try to win them over. One notable exception was when he was telling the outright lie about the $716 Billion Medicare savings that he mischaracterized as being "stolen" from the medicare participants. He just couldn't look in the camera and, in fact, cast his eyes to side......a dead give away to me that he was lying and he knew it.
I hope that Joe does come to the debate ready to skewer that little weasel and more importantly that the Romney/Ryan ticket crashes and burns on Nov. 6th. Maybe then my blood pressure will return to normal because right now I am really angry at what I heard tonight.

And, might I add about using one's mom as a devastate Medicare prop, she is also the person who cheered when you (Paul Ryan) made your first poopy in the potty.
