Last night the emergency alert system went off about flash flood warnings...in NYC

Nobody ever pays attention, because where are you going to have a flash flood in the heart of an urban center?

We had a heat alert, an air quality alert, a thunderstorm warning, and a flash flood warning going on all at the same time.
