has a similar line as their sig line. I noticed it the other night & found myself thinking about it today. It always amazes me that they can manipulate so many working poor people to vote against their own economic interest.

...what's their incentive to make more money by investing in businesses that create jobs here? Much higher return on investment for political donations and lobbying.

I hate to be the turd in the punchbowl but I'm seeing so many selfish people these days...their issues matter more than the next person's and it's everyone for themselves. This is especially the case with those who face economic uncertainties...usually barely hanging onto a job and making ends meet. There's a lot of frustration out there and rational thought is going right out the window.

Yes...the rushpublican can and do believe they can bullshit enough of the electorate to vote against their best interests in hopes of "less taxes" and all the right wing memes that have dominated the body politic for the past 30 years. The Democrats have done a piss pour job of explaining why government is good and haven't sold the case as to how government spending and stimulus can help restore a decimated "middle class".
