The oligarchs have seized the majority of resources.
Still we must persevere no matter how bleak.

Although it has seemingly come upon us very quickly, it has been creeping inexorably every day.
But you are right. We must persevere. There are more of us than there are of them.
Thanks for your posts SHRED. I always read them.

(4,033 posts)If you look at history, every time income and wealth disparity becomes to great, bad things happen to the wealthy, usually with clubs, guns, guillotines and the like. When you can no longer feed your family or keep a roof over your head you tend to heed the words of Janis Joplin:
Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose.
We have an election coming up in 2020 that might just determine which way our our 'freedoms' will play out. Either the Dems win the election, the Presidency, the House, and give Mitch and his band of traitors one-way tickets back to where they came from, or Trump, Putin, and the Oligarchs win and sooner or later blood runs in the streets when suddenly a whole generation of young folks discover that they not have to feed their families but they are responsible for taking care of their parents who no longer can support themselves when Social Security and Medicare are slashed and the parents can't independence any more.
