he had mentioned something last night on one of the news shows he was on - I flipped through channels last night and saw him on a few.

For a House majority that's "not doing anything," they sure seem to be having a lot of these "stay tuned, something new is about to happen" moments lately.

have gotten used to instant gratification.

That's how Trump was able to stay close enough in 2016 to steal the election - he had a huge scandal nearly every day, sometimes more than one scandal per day. However, when today's new scandal or outrage emerged, the huge scandal or outrage from yesterday was put on the back burner and the scandals from two days ago were almost forgotten and scandals from last week were gone and last month's scandals were ancient history. The new scandals each day were the Instant Gratification "high" for the media and the public.

Where do you think we are. heading in the near-term?

trumpies seem emboldened by this week's testimony, though goddess only knows why.

But I think the House is laying the groundwork to open an impeachment inquiry at the right time - and when that time comes, they'll have all of their ducks in a row, thanks to their smart strategy and careful planning - and resistance to the calls to move forward prematurely.

side note: The trashing of Mueller's appearance was horrific by the corporate media. Instead of focusing on the substance they directed it on pettiness, oh wait, that is generally the scope of the Republican party.

The House petition enumerates a wide array of powerful grounds for impeachment. It’s an impressive document, to put it mildly. If Trump could read, it’d drive him crazy. (Not a long drive, to be sure. )

Here’s the petition formally announcing in DC federal court the impeachment inquiry in which the House is now engaged. No ifs ands or buts. No ambiguity. The eagle has taken flight.
