Mr. President, I go home to my district daily. Each morning, I wake up, and I go and fight for my neighbors.

It is my constitutional duty to conduct oversight of the Executive Branch. But, it is my moral duty to fight for my constituents.

He’s not going to out-asshole Trump in a tweet contest. Ignoring Trump is the best defense, while he gets the evidence of Trump secrets.

Giving Trump what he wants—-an emotional tweet storm response to demonstrate “the angry black man” is a stereotype Cummings is smart enough to sidestep.

We Buddhists endeavor to demonstrate the body, speech, and mind of the Buddha. In this tradition, harsh, divisive, untruthful speech is nonvirtuous. Moreover, it is simply not effective at persuading anyone to our point of view. We do not need to fall down to the abysmal morally bankrupt level of Trump. He is so far beneath the dignity of Cummings that the distance is immeasurable.

I appreciate the measured, clear, and honorable way that Cummings responded. We don't need to be crude and vicious. We are better than that.

Mushroom head (not talking about the head between his shoulders) has no idea what he's talking about. Cummings is my representative. I live in NE Baltimore. My neighborhood is quiet. Too quiet if you ask me. I don't live in Pleasantville. Hell no one does. There is the occasional B&E and the only gunshots I hear are gunshots from an idiot who decides he wants to shoot off a gun for the hell of it.

I am VERY proud of my Representative and I find it interesting this crap is coming out the mouth of an individual from New York City because New York City is apparently devoid of danger and crime. It's also interesting this is coming out the mouth of a buffoon who thought it was real good idea one year to have the Miss America pageant in Baltimore the "dangerous place no one wants to live in." I guess no one living here makes it easier for him to grab kittens if the woman decides to scream and make a scene.
