The other night, I was with a group of friends (no, it wasn't an orgy).

One of our older pals suggested we play charades, but he mooned us when everyone laughed.

One of the younger girls (by younger I mean about 12 years out of college) suggested a new game. She suggested a debate. There were eight of us and she suggested we divide up into two teams and debate who is dumber; Donald Trump, or Louie Gohmert. And you had to explain your opinion.

Everyone loved the idea and it turned into a great evening. I almost said "intellectual evening," but that would have sounded too "snobbish, 'librel,' ivory tower, northeastern, establishment, tri-sexual, obscure, etc., to any Republican who might have been reading this.

Anyhow, it was a fun night and I can't remember laughing as much or as hard since the horror of the past 2 1/2 years began. It was good therapy.

Give this new "game" a try. (Read up on your Gohmert beforehand. No one needs to read up on Trump.)

I like the sound of your game. It could be a lot of fun as long as the group is informed about Gohmert's idiocy. As you wrote, no one needs to study Trump.

Of course, the problem is that you're comparing a granite rock with a sedimentary rock; they're both rocks with nothing to offer.

Many variations are possible on this game. But all should make for a good evening of laughs. And right now, we all are badly in need of a laugh or two. After all, as dangerous and evil as the orange menace is, he should be laughed at and mocked as often as possible.

It's no contest. Gohmert is almost universally acknowledged as the dumbest person on the hill.

Jeff Sessions was (and is) openly racist.
