Am I the only one who is sad for Lindsay Graham?

No, I don’t like him a bit, and I think he will end up in the pile of Trump’s discards.

But I thought for one second that he might have been a hero, a senator worthy of fighting for us.

He appeared to be a fighter against a man whose values were destructive to our nation.

He traveled the world and knew our enemies.

What would it take for this man to turn traitor?

I’m thinking a lot.

It's hard to feel much pity for someone who sells himself so cheaply to the likes of Trump. “For Trump? Why, Lindsey, it profit a man nothing to give his soul for the whole world. . . but for Trump!”

Graham has never been a good American. As a congressman then as a senator, he's been a fraud.

You ask a rhetorical question: "What would it take for this man to turn traitor?" Who cares? His behavior throughout his career has been despicable.

In short, fuck Lindsay Graham. He's a dead end.

By the way, I think the answer to your question is that he's compromised one way or another. Trump simply reminded him of that.

Graham is a senator instead of the guy who sucks sewage out of septic tanks. Come to think of it, maybe he does that in his spare time. Seems like something he would be into, sucking it out with a krazy straw.

Like you, I once thought he might have a shred of integrity. But instead of doing the right thing, he caved to whatever stick or carrot he was offered.

He is not a victim. It was his choice.

How long does he realistically think he can ride the tiger? Someone, somewhere, has information that could utterly ruin Graham's career. Maybe even cost him his life.

So every day, Sen. Graham has to run the odds: Is today the day I'm exposed? Is today the day I collapse without warning, dead? What would my survivors have to face when it all comes out? How could I face my loved ones and supporters? If I'm killed, how will they ever know my side of things? When will the day come when he says, "Screw it! I'm tired of living on my belly, waiting for the ax to fall." What will it take? Why wasn't today the day?

The fact is that he has such a poor moral sense that he has become the peon of a Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan.

You cannot have ever been a decent human being to do what he has done, fronting for suspected rapists (Kavanaugh) and elevating the suspected rapist to the Supreme Court, cheering for a slovenly idiot pig of a President.

There's nothing to do for him other than to hold him in the contempt his despicable soul deserves.

I dread when George W Bush or Gingrich dies and I’ll have to read how decent they were compared to the current republicans.

I’ve been watching this crap for years and it gets old. Screw Lindsey Graham and let him rot.

Lindsay wishes he could be bold like Trump. It's not in his nature. But he sees how it works with Trump and it makes him want to be part of the inner circle.

It's sad, really. Because if Lindsay were to have a misstep, he would be cast out tomorrow, left to wonder what happened.

That's how a narcissist works.

Graham followed him.

Now McCain is gone, so he's turned to Trump for "guidance."

No respect, no pity for him from me. He's weak and easily led, and someone like that should know better than to run for high office. And there's no respect deserved by someone who would worship Trump.
