to fool us into thinking we have a choice. The "owners" of this country have decided to install trump into office again. And Democrats are helping do it by trying to outdo each other with promises that will be constantly twisted by the media into scaring people. The media is not on our side.
I don't like the idea of relying on the election to remove trump. It feels like it's already fixed.
Talk me down please. I'm in a bad place about it.

The answer is to engage more, not disengage.

(7,142 posts)was by making promises he never kept. It is a right wing narrative that Democrats have to run someone who is close to being a Republican, why wouldn't they push that narrative?
IMO if Democrats run a leftist candidate they will blow Trump out of the water.
Remember, if Trump's base votes and our base votes, we win. Trump's base is what it is, it's not getting any bigger.

(10,035 posts)But I dont really believe there is. As far as Trump goes I think it was an unforeseen aberration by those behind the curtain. But theyve quickly adjusted and have learned to profit from it. The driving force behind it all is greed. Those who have are never satisfied, and now it just feels we are slipping into a worldwide system of a few ultra rich people dominating the rest. Maybe its always been that way. Certainly dont have to go back far to. See kings and queens and emperors.
But the greed prevents a grand conspiracy. All those who want it all arent going to cooperate very long. They will as long as it serves their interests but not further.
