Anyone going to watch and listen to Clint tonight if he is the surprise??

I'm sure my husband will.....big fan, my husband is a Democrat who'll vote for Barack but he WILL watch one of his favorite actors. My husband is old school and loves the actors from that bygone era.......he's 67.

He used to be pretty liberal about a lot of things. Is it the gun thing? Or, did he start going to Church?

even if I had nothing planned, I would be changing the channel and finding something else to watch.

COULD NOT STOMACH Ann Romney. Skipped the first night altogether.

Will watch tonight because I really do feel that we MUST hear what Romney has to say, just as we HAD TO hear Ryan last night.

And if the DNC does nothing about it next week, and Romney gets in, we'll now why.

FACE IT, they are HANDING Obama everything he NEEDS for a second term, GIFT-WRAPPED with a pretty bow and ribbons. There is NO REASON to lose other than APATHY.

He's skilled at delivering a message effectively and that's dangerous when the message is pure propaganda.

Eastwood is an OK actor but I wouldn't walk across the street to hear what he has to say about politics.

Your husband does realize that this time Mr. Eastwood isn't acting...and that he's become an advocate for a party that embraces misogyny, racism, and bigotry...and that he supports two men who want to bring misery to the working poor, children, the elderly, and the middle class!

I used to like Eastwood too, but for me he's jumped the shark...and what he seems to have embraced is enough for me to decide that as a person he lacks any kind of empathy, and fits right in with his new friends!

If so, can always catch it later. If not, not worth seeing/hearing.

I don't care either way about him as an actor, but I'd always heard good things about him as a person, and it makes me sad that he has joined the dark side.
