Job growth slows (BLS July Jobs Report)
https://www.bls.gov/news.release/empsit.nr0.htmNot a bad report, but not a good one. Job growth slowed to 164,000, previous 2 months revised down. June's really good month revised down from 224,000 to 193,000. May's really bad month revised down further from 72,000 to 62,000.
Markets are actually hoping for more bad economic news because they're thirsty for another rate cut from the Fed, which we are surely going to get in a few months now.
