Collin County voted 56.2% for Trump v 39.2% for Clinton and is solidly Republican.

My ex had a very nice house in Plano (kissing cousin to Allen), and man, his neighbors were fucking ANYTHING but liberal. They were nosy sorts, and when I showed up to my ex's one day with him, there must have been 5 women who came out to the street. CreepyVille. Very authoritarian.

2. Don't even get me started on

the kinds of issues I dealt with in Plano for about a year, serving as a child psychologist, before I got my PhD.

Some really sick creepy shit going on there, like claims of satanic ritual abuse...not corroborated, incest, seriously sick pedophilia with multiple videotapes, lots of affluenza, girls telling me their fathers bought off their latest obsession with a bad boy with a rad new car...I could go on and on.

Disgusted me. I just did the work to get through my dissertation.

3. I shuddered and was sick when my ex in Plano had my children the month of August

Those gruesome summers for me 2003-2006... just one month with that Plano vibe....they all came home just bent. My daughter (11 then in 2006) put it best when I asked her how she was upon returning to NOR CA, she said "I feel dirty, and like I have been hit by a truck."

My experience in Plano was in the early 80's and it could only have gotten worse since then.

My beautiful daughter was abused in 2006 in Plano, it took years of counseling and tons of tears and hard work to see her through. She is ALRIGHT now.
