A masterly summing up of the El Paso terrorist attack in only four sentences...

We have a white supremacist problem.
We have a gun problem.
We have a money in politics problem
.

This entire Presidency is a hate crime.

Succinct and to the point. A toxic brew of conservative nasty creates terror and hate - what happened yesterday was the inevitable result of this.

Masterful move, putting the orange anus mouth into office. He does not have to waste any missiles, just pour money into the gop, and USA will be destroyed from the inside. Another mass shooting in Dayton, Ohio. The USA is becoming a hellhole. People are not safe shopping for school supplies, going to church, driving the streets, going to school. The only safe place if wherever the politicians gather, since no guns are allowed. Unlike the "little people" politicians are well protected. Well, until they are voted out of office, I mean. Moscow Mitch and Leningrad Lindsey will have to hire private security guards. I hope Vlad gave them enough money to pay for that. Traitors need to live in the REAL world, where we face danger daily from their rabid followers.

one of many the Republican leadership and the other RW power blocs they front for, including extremists among the religious right, are utilizing.

Faced with increasing inability to win national elections, we thought the Republican Party would be forced to embrace female and minority conservatives.

Instead, the Republican Party has morphed into a hard-right, white, male-dominated authoritarian party, funded by RW billionaires for whom democracy also has become an existential threat and powered by the worst of social-cultural-religious conservative passions. They must win now, because if they don't they will fall hard.

And RW violence against the rest is intrinsic to fascism and a major component of fascistic methods of breaking and taking over stable, established societies.

I now believe the Republican leadership must have been opposing gun control for at least the past decade or more with the specific intent of encouraging and enabling greater RW violence against the existing order.

Hers may not be the most eloquent voice sounding this alarm, but her warning should be among the most powerful because it comes from the president who was chosen by the people but prevented from taking office by a treasonous RW plot to take over our democracy.

The legislation and de-regulation by the RW Republican party created and nurtures those RW billionaires. It's a positive feedback loop that will destroy the system, unless curbed.

Why would predatory RW billionaires want to be surrounded by an armed populace? Russia's sure don't; they already have a faux democracy but nevertheless absolutely no intention of allowing people even very limited arms.

Those who are most easily manipulated are also the most irrationally opposed to sensible gun controls.

Those professing fundamentalist, extremist, evangelical religion are pre-conditioned to believe things contradicted by observable, measurable facts. They are RW and vocal. Given sufficient, targeted propaganda, they will vote for climate change denial, pollution for profit, no taxes for corporations or rich, and anything else the predators want -- just give them demons to combat and access to guns.

Russia is not the only entity funnelling millions through the NRA into GOPer coffers.

for at least the past decade or more with the specific intent of encouraging and enabling greater RW violence against the existing order." -- Me.

Power.

The Republican leadership has allied with the new ultra-wealthy classes that recently developed out of the quadrupling of wealth due to increased production. And democracy is an existential threat to their enormous power and wealth, to its continued existence.

I've recently finally connected those dots and realized that guns are NOT just bribes and nose rings to get people to vote the way they want. It's now clear to experts in fallen democracies that their final solution includes elimination of our power to control them. And they partner with other conservative extremists, white nationalists and religious right, eager to establish an authoritarian state and to whom today's fascistic Republican tactics come entirely naturally.

Violence is a very important fascistic tactic. If the experts in authoritarian takeovers calling this warning are right, today's violence will continue to accelerate. Exactly like other nations where it's happened.

The guns are to destabilize and assist in sabotaging elections and overthrowing the existing order, not just as a bribe for voters.

"We may have democracy, or we may have wealth concentrated in the hands of a few, but we can't have both." Nancy Pelosi!!! quoting Louis Brandeis, who sounded this warning repeatedly coming up on 100 years ago when most of Europe was falling to fascism and we barely escaped it.

We're there again.

I wonder if the power of wealth grown far larger anything before combined with the power of mass communications might have developed ambitions beyond than those of the early decades.

Or maybe not. Control by peasants who could vote must always have been not just a constant problem but constantly offensive.

IS a high crime after promoting hate, fear, violence and lies on a daily basis. Putin has his puppet radicalizing extremist and loyalist openly to use against us, and the kgbop enable him to continue mass murdering Americans on OUR own soil. We have another Charles Mansion ,only this time he's in the White House inciting others to do his dirty work for him and Putin.

The GOP was ready to betray our democracy to make it look like they won elections. The NRA knew they were done for because of all the murdered children unless someone infused massive amounts of funding that even weapons manufactorers didn't want to commit. And the Dancing Supremes were ready to dance to anyone's tune willing to funnel them money from overseas or from speaking gigs. Why does Alito get so much money from playing the stock market?

And most of all, the filthy rich American capitalist kings were ready to back anyone willing to funnel them more and more profits. The Koch bros, the Waltons, the Gates, the Google kings, the Facebook creep and anyone with a billion were willing to fund Trump or enable him. They hate our democracy and believe they should control our country....and they are willing to partner with a Russian murdering mobster to do it.

When you make capital your king, all else is collateral damage.
