Trump is absolutely a bad guy here. But so is Facebook. And so are Facebook users -- you are enabling all the bad shit they do, whether they do it actively/knowingly or passively/unknowingly (it's mostly knowingly, btw, despite their "who, what, me, huh, wha?..." responses).

In effect, FB has become a utility in the same manner as Verizon or Comcast. Most people use it to communicate with family and friends. When we use our phones, we would never be thought responsible for the virulent communications that other users of the same services might send.
