Trump Blames Mass Shootings on the Media: 'Fake News Has Contributed Greatly to the Anger and Rage'

Minutes after a call for political unity to pass legislation in the wake of two deadly mass shootings, President Donald Trump returned to pointing his finger of blame at his favorite target: the Media.

Trump’s tweet reveals an understanding that there is great “anger and rage that has built up over many years” in the United States, but that the “Fake News has contributed greatly.”

Trump added that “News coverage has got to start being fair, balanced and unbiased or these terrible problems will only get worse!”

------------

So, one year ago he called the media the “enemy of the people,” and now, after a spate of deadly mass shootings, he’s putting the wanton killing of innocents at their feet.

I don't think he is just blaming the media.... he is threatening the country... if the media does not get in line more terrorist activity will take place... that is how I read it.

"You got them so angry -- Look what you made them do!"
"If you stop making them angry, they'll stop hurting you."

on edit:
He's basically saying that the murderers were justified because the new media made them angry

He lies and creates fake news when he's backed himself in a corner.

And when the truth is told by the media about him - he calls it fake news.

This is one of those times.

It's being reported in the media that he is racist. That he is a white nationalist. That he incites the violence that manifests itself in these senseless killings. The truth is coming out and being told.

So what does Trump do. He turns it around and calls it fake news.
