It was sort of obvious that Trump was reading the entire speech off the TelePrompter and that he wasn't the least bit familiar with it. It must have been written for him and evidently by a different speechwriter than usual. His deadpan delivery and eyes-fixed-on-the-camera indicate that he was reading without any clue of what was coming.

Suggestions to censor the internet (made without any irony), and censor video games, and more mental health programs with tougher involuntary treatment laws (who's going to pay for that?), but only the briefest mention of firearms legislation - without a concrete suggestion about restricting assault weapons or large magazines.
