(198 posts)I volunteered when she ran for congress last year. McGrath lost to Andy Barr (R) republican scum). Grimes lost in her bid back in '14 I believe, and now her father (long time democratic big shit) is fighting bribery charges/kickbacks or some such shit from that campaign, yet his daughter remains SoS until the November elections. I know, I know. Off, way off, year elections.

It comes from the official account of Mitch McConnell for Senate, so he probably didn't tweet it himself (but it still his responsibility as the candidate to monitor the account).

(3,764 posts)What a reprehensible display created by Mitch McConnell's deplorable supporters! Yep, I said it. It's deplorable to create tombstones of your opponents. In particular tombstones that look similar to bullets right after two mass shootings. And you know what, any of you guys that are ok with this, that don't think this is deplorable, yeah, you're deplorable too.

Moscow Mitch promotes terrorism, so long as he believes it will preserve his power. Indecent is far too mild to apply to this despicable creature.

Since Joe is the one who coined the phrase "Moscow Mitch" I think he might find another new nickname for the Grim Reaper, the Russian Sleeper.

fb.org
The American Farm Bureau Federation, more commonly referred to as Farm Bureau, is an independent, non-governmental, voluntary organization governed by and representing farm and ranch families united for the purpose of analyzing their problems and formulating action to achieve educational improvement, economic opportunity and social advancement and, thereby, to promote the national well-being. Farm Bureau is local, county, state, national and international in its scope and influence and is non-partisan, non-sectarian and non-secret in character. Farm Bureau is the voice of agricultural producers at all levels. AFBF is headquartered in Washington, D.C. There are 50 state affiliates and one in Puerto Rico.Wikipedia

(16,254 posts)My father was a member and it was a great organization, in those days. It was kind of a cross between an educational group and a union where farmers could join together to learn new methods of ground/animal care and management and fight the government when they came up with ridiculous decisions that would directly harm the family farmers. Working individually wouldn't accomplish much, but joining together gave them more power. Now that corporations have taken over such a high percentage of family farms, I don't know what the group is or even if they have any say in its operation.
Farmer's Insurance is totally different.
