Seems odd we haven't (or at least I haven't) seen any reports of who was killed in El Paso ... not really ANYTHING about who they were.
Dayton was obviously later and yet by Sunday PM we knew the 6/9 number, so ...
Have I just missed it or has El Paso police still not released any such info? Maybe having trouble contacting next of kin for everyone, possibly?

Seems kinda odd to me that this is all they're telling us, 2 days later. Maybe like I say there's issues finding next of kin for everyone, but ...
I am curious how many of the other 14 were Latino, but US citizens, or citizens of Central/South American countries apart from Mexico.
Not that it's not very obvious at this point who his targets were, to be clear.

(51,308 posts)CNN has been showing pictures of many of the victims, with stories about them. Theyve listed names and ages of many of them.
Their nationalities or races are unimportant to me. They were human beings.

(32,609 posts)They are not undocumented or people with green cards. They go back and forth and jftr Americans go back and forth to shop to dine...whatever.
Don't you think Mexican nationals want to take advantage of the "no tax on school supplies" shopping days just like American nationals?

(33,643 posts)I was just curious about what the news was on breakdown of ethnicity of victims because at the time I asked, I didn't know anything about it because I don't watch TV news unless it's a clip on DU and I'd not seen it mentioned.

(12,647 posts)visiting relatives living there. El Paso is a border town; most of those having Mexican heritage are here legally. One of the reasons the Mexican government can take such a strong legal position against the US government over the victims.
The victims were not part in the undocumented underground that Drumpf and his cohorts have been profiting - politically or otherwise, from.
