I friended Breitbart on Facebook, just so I could get a look at what the other side is up to (most unexpected were the numbers of photos of Trump and Melania in formal attire). Today there were three separate posts showing Sanders, O'Rourke and Maxine Waters with quotes from them against Trump's racism. But they weren't off the wall quotes. They were rational, true quotes. I would think Breitbart wouldn't want to spread them around. I'm puzzled.

(4,741 posts)If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.
Following Bretibart directly gives you a feed into what the enemy is hearing, real time and unfiltered. Intelligence agencies sacrifice lives to find out that kind of stuff.
I read Breitbart, and Freep, and Voat and 8Chan and TheDonald, and others, regularly. It's disgusting, but I know just how bad our opponents are.

(4,741 posts)But how they individually react on a day to day basis isn't something you can find out from anything less than actually diving in and looking at what they have to say. It's not enjoyable by any means, some things I've read make me go to the gym and beat the fuck out of a bag while on the verge of tears, but it's useful intelligence.

(4,121 posts)If I thought the OPs motives were benign we would not be having this discussion, I can assure.

(4,741 posts)They make them all publicly accessible, so reading them doesn't necessitate any kind of endorsement. Not sure what OP is on about.

(4,741 posts)The great thing about the Internet is that it lets me hear what they say without having to actually be near them.
Thanksgiving is bad enough with my RWNJ nutjob family, thanks.

Same thing on GAB. Ulta right websites don't approve of any free speech that doesn't support their twisted reality of hate and violence.
