4. There's a difference between quirky Anarchism

and White Nationalism, which seeks violent retribution against vulnerable demographics.

Social media platforms and other sites which serve as a breeding ground for hate and violence must be held accountable.

If our government won't do it, then corporations and individuals must 'hit them in the wallet'.. ie boycotts, lawsuits, etc.

We also need to strip these cowards of their anonymity. Let's see how their workplace/job/school feels about their views in the light of day.

I always get a kick out of how easily people rationalize things when it's their side. The AC contained instructions for building pipe bombs and making chorine gas and plastic explosives, the exact stuff that has Nance in a moral panic. This kind of info (which can be found in any library) has been shared online since before most people knew what 'online' meant.

As for removing anonymity online... that cuts both ways. It makes it harder for white supremacists to congregate, and it also makes life harder for everyone from Chinese and Russian dissidents to pro-democracy whistleblowers inside the Trump administration. In the end, it only drives people into the shadows, using encrypted networks and cryptocurrencies, where it's harder to monitor them.

"Deplatforming" only works on people like Alex Jones, whose real goal is not to spread a message but to make himself rich. It has little effect on people who aren't in it for the money. Besides, 90% of these shooters' manifestos can be heard every night during Tucker Carlson's opening monologue.

that PoC and vulnerable groups can't afford, especially in the age of social media whereby violent hate groups and methods spread rapidly.

White Nationalism/fascism is not equivalent to anti-facists/pro-Democracy dissidents .. there aren't 'good people on both sides'.

White Nationalism is terrorism and should be treated like any other terrorism, with the appopriate laws and legal structures to bring down their networks.
