(1,151 posts)the clear truth. Guns don't kill people...you don't outlaw cars when people die...video games cause violence...lack of prayer in school...it's mental illness. And every time you refute each of these claims with clear facts they dig up some other ridiculous reason.
I think ultimately we are going to have to say "Sorry, fuck you, we ARE taking your guns. If you want to die on that hill, perhaps literally, so be it. But the sane people of America are done with your sorry excuses."

(Although it raises peripheral questions too. Assuming the revenue figure is for consumer purchases, not business revenue, how on earth does little Canada manage to spend almost as much as us? )

(82,849 posts)Canadians spend nearly as much per person as the U.S. does. The raw sales figures would put total expenditures on video games by the U.S. way above Canada.
