True, but to be fair, President Obama didnt have multiple mass shooters penning manifestos using language lifted directly from his speeches.
Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump
Did George Bush ever condemn President Obama after Sandy Hook. President Obama had 32 mass shootings during his reign. Not many people said Obama is out of Control. Mass shootings were happening before the President even thought about running for Pres. @kilmeade @foxandfriends

It happens a lot to liars. They forget and slip up.

(1,980 posts)For all living former Presidents to release a joint statement in condemnation of Trumps words and actions. Way past time, actually.

(7,447 posts)"Twitter comebacks" just ain't doing it for me anymore.
Neither are "Trump was just eviscerated by this tweet" posts.
Until this motherfucker is gone, all of this is just impotent rage.

(6,839 posts)I'm not really sure that social media rage is always impotent.
Hopefully enough rage and political activism will lead to his removal via impeachment, resignation, or the 2020 election.

(7,447 posts)what's changed?
You want to post Twitter stuff...post voter registration. Post drives to buy voter IDs. Post ways to get youth involved.
Sick burns aren't going to do jack squat.
Mrs. Overall
(6,839 posts)as it is pertinent to politics.
Sometimes the discussion that follows a "twitter impotent rage" post is interesting and enlightening.
There are also many posts on this discussion board that deal with voter registration, youth involvement, etc.
DU offers a big umbrella for political talk, so I won't be chastised for posting a "burn" that is obviously popular among the board's readers.

(7,447 posts)as can I, which I did.
Where did I tell you that you can't post anything?
All I did was say what I thought about it.
So yes, you will be chastized, because as you said, DU members can post whatever they like.
You aren't special and you don't get a criticism free card.
