Think about that jacket and its message, "I really don't care, do U?", worn on a trip with her husband to the Texas/Mexico border to visit detained children a little over a year ago. I know that hindsight is 20/20 vision, but I think that jacket intentionally and directly telegraphed permission and encouragement to every white supremacist in this country to go to war on latinos and other people of color.
At the time, there was great speculation about why the First Lady would wear a jacket like that on a warm day to visit immigrant children at our border. Some chalked it up to Melania just being stupid and tone deaf, some said she was needling her husband and others (especially in the WH) said it was a jab at the fake news media.
No one, as far as I know said...this is a call to arms, this is your President telling his rabid followers that it's ok to take some of these subhumans out, this is your President telling you directly through his wife that he doesn't care what you do.
Hindsight is 20/20 vision. Think about that jacket today.
Did Donald come up with the jacket idea himself? No. I don't think he's smart enough or subtle enough for that. I think Miller is. I think Bannon is. Put the message on the back of the stupid, immigrant, ex-porn star wife and most people will dismiss it as a terrible gaffe. The people that Miller and Bannon want to reach will get it immediately.
Hindsight is 20/20 vision. They're going to put the flags back at fill staff on 8/8. Don't tell me that's a mistake.

(42,360 posts)A man who has been documented as spending hours obsessing over carpet and furnishing selections while his businesses were going bankrupt or the colors and interior design for the new presidential plane is completely capable of coming up with the jacket idea.

(2,374 posts)She's as awful as he is. I don't give her any quarter. I also don't believe that she "has" to stay with him because of a prenup or whatever. She stays with him because she's as shallow and vapid as he is. It's all about the money and lifestyle.

(30,656 posts)pink pussy hats and pink shirts that said, "Persist and Resist," she showed up in some pink blouse that I am sure was a mockery of our statements. Someone knows what they are doing.

(9,426 posts)and her parents living at taxpayer expense. A former escort/nude model has no place in the WH. Franklin Graham claims "She is the classiest first lady EVER" so that tells where his sense of "class" lies. Unless of course Vlad has some compromat on ol' Franklin? Praising the class of a two bit whore is hardly a religious quality, is it?? Oh, Franklin remember the old adage "You can not turn a whore into a housewife" With Maleria it seems that one cannot turn her into a quality human being. She has her perfect mate in soulless, disgusting, low class, grifting, dumb ass Don the Con.

The RacistRapist is a SOCIOPATH...they REALLY DON'T CARE. It isn't in their make-up.

(6,831 posts)will be scrutinized by the press. We are constantly reading about who designed her outfit/her shoes/her jewelry/anything she wears. (The fashion mags, alone, are all over this stuff.)
She is cognizant that anything she wears is her making a statement. I refuse to believe that she didn't know what was written on her back.
