BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Police are responding to reports of a shooting at the Walmart on Burbank Drive.
All available units with East Baton Rouge Sheriffs Office are heading to the scene.
Authorities said the scene is not an active shooter situation, but the scene is active.
EMS said there were no patients transported from the Walmart. A person did drive to Baton Rouge General with a gunshot wound, and officials are trying to determine whether that person came from the Walmart incident.

(4,558 posts)Wasn't an actual active shooter, but someone with a gun using it.
As our gun laws continue to get more lax, and more people are carrying, it won't prevent mass shootings, but increase the numbers of incidental shootings.
