I got my Postal record today!

It is the magazine for the National Association of Letter Carriers! On the cover NACL ENDORSES OBAMA! I am a retired letter carrier. Of course this does not surprise me. I have had 2 phone calls from retired letter carriers complaining about it. They both said the Union can't tell me how to vote. My reply,"How Fucking Stupid are you? You can vote for anyone you want. But just remember if Romney wins he will Fuck with our pension!"

you should have told them the way it goes: first buy the company using borrowed money, take 1/3 of borrowed money for self, saddle company with debt owed, go bancrupt and pass pensions on to the government pension guaranty board. piss and moan that government is spending too much money on pensions.

idiots are everywhere, I don't have a pension or a very secure job, but I don't begrudge anyone that does. I believe that instead of being jealous and wanting them to lose theirs, we should all have them.

We had 1 or 2 carriers in my station who were scabs and would say, WTF has the union ever done for me!

I tell ya we were speechless by their stupidity.

Only until we spiral in to the depths before the union movements will these morons get it.

5. If there's two things Romney can't stand...

It's paying taxes and unions.

I know a guy who recently retired from the service. He's a die-hard republican and got out before retirement became impossible. He now feels he's impervious to any harm and insists to me that the GOP loves him and his union. I'm tired of arguing with this idiot and haven't spoken to him in a while. Knowing his deep tea-party roots and hatred for Obama, I'm sure he's going to vote Romney.

The last debate we had was over Ohio's SB5 that would have taken the right to bargain from the state's public workers. He told me "we have to rein them in" and "I pay their salary, and they earn too much". That's when I ended further communication with this hypocrite.

I don't care what happens to this goofball, but I hope for your sake Romney goes down in flames. Good luck from a union brother, Mailman82.

there is a lot of talk in the GOP of doing away with the post office, or privatizing it....so there is more than just breaking the union or taking your pension. The whole postal system is in jeopardy under them.

Retired last year on disability- couldn't do my job anymore. And all of the inside jobs were near impossible to get, with all of the clerks scrambling for a position.

Sad times for us. I know at my station routes are constantly being added to and changed and carriers are mandated to pivot quite often.

I honestly don't miss the stress, although I miss the people.

12. I can't understand why any union member would not vote for Obama

unless they are suicidal or just plain stupid.
The first thing our repuke governor did was tax pensions so he could cut corporate taxes.
